Hence ensuring resilience  of pervasive systems is an important issue, which should be tackled by adopting rigorous design methods and systems approach. In this short paper we identify the key research directions in engineering pervasive resilient systems and our experience in rigorous development of a multi-agent application called Ambient Campus.
